The U.S. Army Aviation Museum collection contains many one-of-a-kind aircraft and research and development experiments in both fixed and rotor wing flight; includes one of the largest military helicopter collections in the world. The aircraft display traces the history of Army aviation from its beginning. A Vietnam Memorial Room contains the name, rank, and date of all known Army Aviation personnel who suffered combat-related fatalities in airplanes and helicopters during the Vietnam conflict. The museum is located at the corner of Andrews Ave and Novosel St at Ft. Rucker and is open Monday thru Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from NOON to 4 PM.
