Between the Ouachitas and the Ozarks, Petit Jean Mountain stands 1,207 feet above sea level, offering panoramic views of the Arkansas River Valley. The natural beauty of Petit Jean inspired the creation of Arkansas' state park system in 1923. Nearby are 33 fully-equipped cabins. The park offers campsite near Lake Bailey and in secluded woodlands. Handicapped-accessible sites are available.
For campsite reservation and park information, call 501-727-5441.Reservations are recommended for the cabins. For lodge and cabin reservation, call 800-264-2462.
The park also offers picnic areas, playgrounds, pavilions, a launch ramp, a pool, and tennis courts. Interpreters host programs and special events highlighting the resources of this unforgettable state park.
