Built in 1783, this striking mission is known as the "white dove of the desert." A restoration project in the church's interior uncovered vibrant colors and surprising levels of craftsmanship. Since the discovery the church is being called the "Sistine Chapel of North America." Native crafts and food are available at shops on the plaza.
