The zoo covers 216 acres and boasts such naturalistic exhibits as Habitat Africa; the Seven Seas Panorama, with daily dolphin demonstrations; the Fragile Kingdom, with Asian rain forest and African desert habitats; Tropic World, which reproduces South American, Asian, and African rain forests and houses primarily primates; and The Swamp, which displays wonders of the wetlands. Additional exhibits include Salt Creek Wilderness and Wolf Woods as well as a children's zoo and family play zoo. Tram tours are offered from spring through the late fall.
