This huge area (about 1.6 million acres) of forest is dotted with many lakes. Recreational activities here include canoeing, boating, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and camping. Chippewa is a great place to see eagles in their natural habitat.
