Lake Chelan State Park covers 127 acres, with 6,000 feet of waterfront on Lake Chelan. This site is comprised of mountainous and heavily forested terrain at the edge of the narrow lake and allows you to enjoy the lake as well as the bordering land. Day-use facilities include docks, a boat launch and a concession stand. You can also enjoy jet-skiing, water-skiing, and swimming in the waters of Lake Chelan. The park is located within minutes of the town of Chelan, about nine miles southeast. Also nearby is the Bear Mountain Ranch Nordic Ski Area, which offers trail skiing and cross-country skiing in season. The park is open year-round, but campgrounds are open only from April through October. Campground reservations can be made from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Otherwise, all sites are first-come, first-served. The park offers regular and handicapped-accessible campsites. Call the park for specific opening and closing dates. There is a nonrefundable fee for each reservation made. Reservations are accepted only between May 15 and September 15. Campsites are first-come, first-served the rest of the year.
