Chihuly Bridge of Glass, NV

Categories: Arts & Culture; History & Heritage; Local Highlights

Feel as if you're floating through an underwater world of glass shapes and forms, marvel at the bold blue Crystal Towers, and walk along the Venetian Wall where some of the largest blown-glass works ever made can be found. Dale Chihuly, artist and Tacoma native, conceived the 500-foot pedestrian bridge that now links the Washington State History Museum to the Museum of Glass. The bridge towers 70 feet above Interstate 705.

Click here for more information on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass. The bridge is open 24/7, but visitors are discouraged after midnight. Admission is free.
