Most of Fresno's nightlife is concentrated in the Tower District near the intersection of East Olive and North Van Ness avenues. The neighborhood's heart is the historic Tower Theatre, once an art deco movie palace, now a venue for concerts by jazz, rock and pop performers. Surrounding the theater, you'll find trendy restaurants, nightclubs, and eclectic shops and galleries. Sequoia Brewing Company offers its own locally made beers, various bands on Friday and Saturday, and live jazz on Wednesday and Sunday. Catch dinner and a musical comedy performed by the Good Company Players at Roger Rocka's Dinner Theatre. The full spectrum of dance music is offered at Starline. Microbrews are also on tap at the Full Circle Brewing Company, where Thursday through Saturday you can listen to the sounds of live jazz and blues.
