Lovely Lake Tahoe, nestled in the mountains and lined with resorts, offers not only many opportunities for gambling, but for camping and year-round sports as well. Several large casinos such as Caesars Tahoe and Harrah's serve the area extending to the south shore in California. Play craps, blackjack, and the slot machines; golf on lush greens. Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park has a sandy beach, a boat ramp, and hiking trails. Exceptional skiing is offered here as well in wintertime.
