The condominiums of this popular family resort and retirement community overlook the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Memorial Causeway Bridge connects the downtown with Clearwater Beach, a narrow barrier island separating Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf. To the south, the Sand Key barrier island has what experts consider to be one of the very best beaches in the nation. Another exceptional beach, Caladesi Island State Park, is accessible only by ferry which you can take from Honeymoon Island.
