This community located centrally between Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale contains one of the highest concentrations of antique stores in Florida. More than 100 dealers line the main drag, Federal Highway. The town is also the home of Graves Museum of Archaeology and Natural History, a repository for artifacts of classical antiquity, pre-Columbian art, and dinosaur fossils among other exhibits. Exciting jai alai action takes place at the Dania Jai Alai Fronton. On the waterfront, Dania Pier offers fishing 24 hours a day. Just south of Dania, you'll find the 1,400-acre West Lake Park, a recreational and nature center offering environmental displays, a boardwalk trail through a mangrove community, and canoeing.
