Miami is serious about its vibrant nightlife -- many clubs stay open past dawn. Miami offers revelers a wide variety of entertainment, from hot rock & roll to cool jazz to spicy salsa. Many popular venues are located in South Beach, the famous Art Deco neighborhood of hotels and restaurants restored to their 1920s splendor.
For authentic Latin ambiance, head to Little Havana. At Cafe Hoy Como Ayer, you can find Latin sounds, played live and hot, Wednesday through Sunday from 9 PM until the wee hours. For the best in Flamenco dancing, stop by Casa Panza. At Mango's Tropical Cafe, entertainers perform all day, every day, so you can dance the hours away to Latin music at the beachside patio bar.
The oldest bar in Miami, Tobacco Road opened in 1912. They serve up an eclectic musical gumbo including blues, jazz, and modern rock. For an intimate night of jazz and other musical styles in elegant surroundings, check out the Van Dyke Cafe.
Miami suffers no dearth of dance clubs. Miami's club scene is hot and trendy, with the most popular events being theme parties organized by outside promoters and held at the coolest venues. South Beach is the heart of the club scene, and options here are constantly changing and nearly endless.
