One of the state's top attractions, the springs are the crystal-clear source of the Silver River. Visitors may take glass-bottom boat trips for a look at the colorful plant life and many varieties of fish, turtles, and shellfish. There are also jungle cruises through the Silver River's subtropical scenery, home of wild monkeys, alligators, and other exotic wildlife. Other attractions on the grounds are Doolittle's Petting Zoo with free-roaming deer, sheep, goats, and llamas; daily shows; Lost River Voyage. Next door is Wild Waters amusement park.
