This quaint and charming 18th-century Quaker village was the site of the first railroad terminus in the United States and the scene of the famous race between the steam locomotive Tom Thumb and a horse-drawn carriage. The original station has been restored at the B & O Railroad Station Museum, which features model railroad displays.
