This summer resort town has a little of everything with a mile-long, smooth sandy beach, ten golf courses, tennis, bicycling, tubing, a variety of festivals, and Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. Winter sports enthusiasts enjoy 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, and excellent cross-country ski trails. There are excellent restaurants, friendly lodging facilities, and summer temperatures that run between 72 and 80 degrees Fahernheit. Lifeguards are on duty from June through August.
