This historic town on the Yellowstone River is an angler's dream. Visit the Federation of Fly Fishers Education Conservation Center, Depot Center, and Yellowstone Gateway Museum. Take a walking tour of Livingston's downtown, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. There's great dining in a variety of ethnic restaurants. Around the Fourth of July weekend, the Livingston Roundup Rodeo and the Festival of the Arts both draw large numbers. On the 53-mile scenic drive through Paradise Valley, bordered by the Absaroka Range and Yellowstone River, visitors find outstanding fishing, floating, white-water rafting, bicycling, horseback riding, windsurfing, and camping.
