Visit John Paul Jones House (1758), where the Revolutionary War naval hero lived; Moffatt-Ladd House (1763); the home of William Whipple, a signer of the Declaration of Independence; Gov. John Langdon House (1784); Thomas Bailey Aldrich House (1790); Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion (1750); Wentworth-Gardner House (1760); Rundlet-May House (1807); Warner House (1716), a brick, urban mansion; and Portsmouth Athenaeum. Strawbery Banke Museum continues to restore homes of the original Portsmouth settlement.
