Did a UFO really crash near Roswell in July 1947? Get the whole story at the International UFO Museum and Research Center. Interest in the "Roswell incident" continues to grow with each passing year and more than one million visitors have visited the International UFO Museum & Research Center since its founding in 1991.

The museum was founded by two participants in the infamous 1947 incident who wanted to promote the dissemination of information and search for the truth about the Roswell incident and UFOs in general. Photographs, witness statements and exhibits cover everything from government cover-ups to extraterrestrials. See what's inside the manual on U.S. presidential procedures required when dealing with UFOs, and check out a worldwide UFO sighting map.

The library is open to all and is home to the most complete collection of UFO related materials in the world; most materials are for use only inside but there are also some circulating materials. Also available is a collection of books and videos for sale in the gift shop, along with clothing and other souvenirs. Roswell also boasts many cultural, historical and outdoor attractions, and there are plenty of places to stay.

The museum is open from 9 AM to 5 PM seven days a week (except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day). There is a suggested donation of $2 for adults and $1 for those under 18.
