Allentown and neighboring Bethlehem are not difficult to negotiate by car. Interstate 78 and U.S. Highway 22 provide highway access between the two cities, which are separated by the Lehigh River. Rental cars are available at the airport and in town.

Transportation from the airport to downtown Allentown: Public Transit: Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANTA) schedules regular bus service from the airport to both Bethlehem and Allentown, Monday through Saturday.
