This Pennsylvania Dutch village took its name from the signboard of an early inn. Old-fashioned stores, Amish farms, and quaint craft shops provide plenty of opportunities for leisurely browsing and peaceful buggy rides. The Folk Craft Center and Museum displays tools, household implements, toys, Stiegel glass, and early Pennsylvania Dutch memorabilia. Plain and Fancy Farm includes the Amish Country Homestead, reconstructed and original buildings such as a blacksmith shop and smokehouse, and craft stores. You can also visit the Old Village Store and the Weaverton One-Room Schoolhouse.
