Thirty years ago it was a weekend event for itinerant dealers; now antiques are a seven-day-a-week business in Adamstown, known as "Antiques Capital U.S.A." The outdoor grove, still in operation on Sundays, has been complemented by numerous permanent shops, co-ops, galleries and specialty stores, offering every imaginable kind of antique and collectible. There are more than 3,000 antique dealers within a three-mile radius.
