A diversity of nightlife can be found in the Five Points area, just a few blocks from the state capitol, almost any night of the week. Delaney's Speakeasy features live jazz on Tuesday and Saturday. The Columbia Jazz Orchestra big band plays on Mondays. Jazz fans will find live music at the Blue Martini on Friday and Saturday nights.

Headliners is the place to catch up-and-coming local, regional, and national touring bands in the modern rock mode.

Bring your mandolin and dobro to Bill's Music Shop & Pickin' Parlor for the free bluegrass jams on Friday nights. They're located in West Columbia.

For complete local listings of clubs and music venues, check out Free Times, the free weekly paper.
