El Paso shares a vibrant nightlife with its partner across the border, Ciudad Juarez. For a prime El Paso experience, sip a cocktail beneath the Tiffany stained glass ceiling of the elegant Dome Bar. Located at the historic Camino Real Hotel, the Dome Bar offers live jazz Thursday through Saturday evenings.
Club 101, where deejays often spin the tunes, also books reggae bands and well-known alternative rock acts for an evening's worth of live entertainment. The club is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Punk rockers tear it up at Zeppelins. Fans of comedy can see headliners from the national standup circuit at the Comic Strip.
Ciudad Juarez, just across the Rio Grande, really gets hopping once the desert sun goes down. There are plenty of cantinas to choose from, most close to the El Paso-Juarez Trolley route. Most visitors drive or walk across the boarder at night.
