This historic Mormon city has the feel of a small town. Fort Buenaventura State Park/Historic Site re-creates the lives of the Mountain Men. Enjoy the historic district, visit the railroad and classic car museums and the Browning Firearms Collection. Enjoy biking, in-line skating, picnicking and fishing at Ogden River Parkway, or visit the wildlife sanctuary and hike nature trails at Ogden Nature Center. See beautiful fall colors from the mountain biking trails in Ogden Canyon.
At the top of the canyon, ski the runs at Snowbasin where the Olympic downhill and super G races will be held during the 2002 Winter Games. Nearby Wolf Mountain and Powder Mountain offer winter sports.
