Spokane's nightclubs and lounges offer an interesting mix of musical options. As a college town, Spokane offers no end of concert halls where the latest rock sounds can be heard. The Big Easy concert hall offers touring rock bands most nights and high energy deejay-driven dance club on off nights. Expect everything from blues, punk, jazz and rock to folk at Fat Tuesday's. Rock bands also play at Mootsy's, an otherwise low-key neighborhood bar. Trick Shot Dixie's serves up pub grub along with local rock acts on Friday and Saturday nights.
But Spokane also prides itself on its affinity for jazz the Spokane Jazz Orchestra is the oldest continuously performing group of its kind in the nation. For live jazz in a swanky atmosphere, Ella's Supper Club (part of the CenterStage operation) offers bands and combos to entertain diners Tuesday through Saturday nights.
