Visit Paul Bunyan's old-time logging camp. The Chippewa Valley Museum depicts local history from prehistory to the present with Ojibwa Indian exhibits, an ice cream parlor, an 1860s log house, and 1882 Sunnyview School. Southeast of Eau Claire in Augusta is the Dells Mill Water Powered Museum, an 1864 gristmill; and in Hatfield is the Thunderbird Museum with Indian artifacts. Northeast of Hatfield in Neillsville are the historic Tufts' Museum, the Wisconsin Pavilion from the 1964 World's Fair, and "The Highground," Wisconsin's Vietnam Veterans' Memorial.
