Milton House Museum (1844), a former stagecoach inn, is a hexagonal building, one of the first poured-concrete structures in the nation. This stop on the pre-Civil War Underground Railroad is connected by tunnel with the original log cabin (1837-39). The museum has a restored livery stable, buggy shed, and general store. The museum is open weekends May through Labor Day. From Labor Day to October 15th, it's open only on weekdays by appointment.
