Visit more than 1,200 animals from around the world just 15 minutes from the heart of Los Angeles. Kids can see ocelots, sea lions, and visit with goats, sheep and more in the animal contact area at the Winnick Family Children's Zoo, where a walk in the cave is full of animal surprises. Take the Safari Shuttle around the Zoo to visit new exhibits such as Red Ape Rain Forest and Dragons of Komodo, or monkey around on a jungle gym at the play park. Concessions include Mexican and health foods. Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM; open every day except December 25.
