Old Sacramento is a registered national landmark and state historic park which has the largest concentration of historic buildings in California. The district's 53 historic buildings house unique shops, restaurants, and museums. One of the highlights is the California State Railroad Museum which displays 21 restored locomotives and cars. There are many events in the historic district including Bonnet Promenade, Gold Rush Days, and more.
