The Center covers several blocks and comprises the 2,741-seat Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall, the 3,146-seat War Memorial Opera House, and the Veterans Building, which in turn houses the Herbst Theatre (916 seats) and the Green Room reception hall. The Center is home to the city's opera and ballet companies and the San Francisco Symphony. It's located on Van Ness Avenue between Hayes and McAllister streets.
