Closed while the California Academy of Sciences undergoes a complete transformation, the Morrison Planetarium reopens in 2008 with an entirely new design. In the meantime, the Academy's temporary headquarters at 875 Howard Street offers specimens from the Steinhart Aquarium, two floors of natural scince exhibits, and a naturalist center.
