This late Victorian mansion, the home of 13 California governors and their families, was in use as the governor's residence from 1903 to 1967. Its impressive architecture includes 14-foot ceilings, Italian marble fireplaces, chandeliers, French mirrors, and equisitely detailed hardware and fixtures. Guided tours are conducted on the hour. Admission is charged.
