What do I do if my HD 100 won’t power on or loses power intermittently?

Check your power connection: Ensure that the cable is secured to the device. Reestablish the cable connections by unplugging them, then plugging them back in. Finally, make sure the locking collar is turned. If you are still encountering an issue, please call Rand McNally Customer Support at 1-877-446-4863.

Check Communications: Check to see if the indicator lights on your device are on. Red indicates Power, yellow indicates a Wi-Fi connection, green indicates a Cell connection and Blue indicates the device is connected to the vehicle’s J-BUS.

If all of the indicator lights on the device are on, call Rand McNally Customer Support at 1-877-446-4863. If any of the lights are not on, verify the cable is connected to the back of the unit properly.
