Manage document flow and invoice billing more quickly with TRANSFLO®— now integrated with Rand McNally products. This integration enables fleets and drivers to communicate and manage workflow driven by documents quickly and easily, resulting in improved cash flow and document management.

Initially available as part of the TPC 7600 with an in-cab scanning option, TRANSFLO® will soon be an option  on the full line of Rand McNally mobile fleet management devices – including the TND™ 760 and HD 100.

It's a Wrap: CCJ Fall Symposium

We had a great time at the CCJ Fall Symposium in Arizona earlier this month. The symposium is an opportunity for fleet professionals and suppliers to come together to learn, share and network.

Rand McNally held three well-attended supplier meetings where we presented our fleet and driver solutions. These small meetings allowed us to address in-depth questions from fleet executives on new developments for Rand McNally and to discuss the transportation industry at large.

In addition to our supplier meetings, there were several informative seminars. Jim Meil, Principal of Industry Analysis from ACT research, gave his 2015 forecast for the trucking industry. Here are some of his predictions:

  • GDP growth with surge to 3.4% in 2015, creating a 5.3% gain in freight.
  • The rest of the decade should average 4% freight growth every year.
  • We’re entering a period of strong and sustainable profitability for carriers.

You can read a summary of the presentation here.
