TND™ 760, TPC 7600 and HD 100 (6 months of service included) customers who have purchased a service plan* have access to the Rand McNally Connect web portal, the web–based command center behind all of our mobile fleet management solutions.
The cloud–based portal is a one–stop shop to access dashboards and reporting (and with two of the service plans, the way to view vehicles on computer mapping). For example, the TND™ 760 device will track Hours of Service and transmit them to your account on the Rand McNally Connect web portal. All you need to do is log into the portal to run and view your reports.
The Rand McNally Connect web portal enables fleet managers to communicate with their drivers, and access the real–time and historic information needed to improve compliance, safety and fuel efficiency – all of which helps to reduce expenses and maximize productivity by saving time and reducing waste.
View more than 300 driver and vehicle metrics across a body of various configurable performance reports, and receive email alerts for performance and critical events. This enables fleet managers to better manage assets, and increase safety and productivity, all while reducing costs and enhancing the bottom–line.
Fleet–configured overspeed reporting — Access speed reports based on fleet–configurable maximum speed.
Speed band–based reporting — View data based on speed ranges (i.e. 58–62 MPH), including engine time, miles, hard brake count and fuel consumption.
Idle reporting — Gain insight into driver and vehicle–specific idle items and percentages.
Critical event reconstruction — Access second–by–second analysis of potential accidents and their locations, graphically showing vehicle speed, RPM, brake, and throttle data.
Cruise control reporting — See driver and vehicle–specific cruise control miles, times, and a percentage breakdown of use.
State mileage reports — Get state–by–state breakdowns of vehicle miles and fuel consumption for easier fuel tax reporting.
Miles per gallon reporting — Manage fuel costs better with driver and vehicle–specific data on fuel consumption while driving or idling, including driving and idling miles per gallon, and fuel consumption by speed range. Receive text message and email performance alerts for Hours of Service violations, over fleet speed events, over RPM events, excessive idling, and rapid deceleration.
Vehicle fault code visibility — Receive real–time notifications of vehicle maintenance issues as they occur.
User–configurable and exception–based reporting — Easily view only the data that matters to you with customizable fields and filters for any driver or vehicle performance report.
More than 300 vehicle and driver metrics — Get a comprehensive look at every vehicle’s performance, fuel and mileage, speed, engine load, RPM, vehicle diagnostic faults, environmental elements, regional fuel, and more.
Easily download reports to spreadsheets — Manage your data the way it fits your business.
The Mapping feature on the Rand McNally Connect web portal enables enhanced fleet security through greater visibility into vehicle locations and events. It also helps minimize deadhead miles and improve delivery times with information that helps managers assign the optimal vehicle to a specific load. Plus, managers are able to analyze driving behavior for improved productivity and minimized costs.
Map proximity search — Pin–point real–time driver and vehicle locations on the map based on their proximity to a selected zip code, address, landmark, or any point on the map.
Configurable map display — Select a standard map, satellite, topographic or hybrid view. Maps scale to any monitor size for clearer visuals.
Map bread–crumb trails — Replay a driver or vehicle bread–crumb trail for a specified period of time.
Polygonal & route geofencing — Create and save polygonal geofences for terminals, customer locations, and more. You can also create and save route geofences to help you monitor and curb out–of–route driving.
POIs — Save important locations to the Mapping interface, ideal for viewing customer locations, terminals, and more. Generate POIs individually, or upload hundreds of POIs from a spreadsheet. Organize POIs by group, and even add geofences around specific POIs.
Vehicle arrive/depart & detention reporting — Display vehicles and the locations from which they have arrived or departed, as well as detention times within geofences.
Email arrive/depart alerts — Receive email alerts for geofence duration, and geofence–triggered arrival and departure.
Two–way messaging helps you streamline fleet–driver communication, eliminate phone calls, and keep records of activity in one centralized location. Plus, improve customer service and reduce administration with standard form messages for driver availability, and load acceptance along with confirmation of pickup and delivery. Messaging also allows you to communicate with and locate your drivers around the clock, monitor on–the–road progress in real time, and optimize dispatch operations.
Free form & form–based messaging — Use free–form messages that support up to 2,400 characters. Fleets can customize an unlimited number of canned messages for drivers to send from the cab.
Open email access — Option to allow drivers up to five personal email addresses to stay in touch from the road.
Email attachments — Send attachments to one or more drivers and vehicles, ideal for permits, terminal maps, company newsletters and more. TND™ 760: pdf documents TPC 7600: pdf, jpeg, tif, tiff, gif, png, bmp, wmv, wma (supports file sizes of up to 4GB)
Workflow — Streamline dispatch communications into one list of driver tasks, and simplify the interaction between dispatcher and driver.
Centralized records of activity — Store communication records across your fleet in one location. All email messages are saved in the portal for 30 days.
Easily access an at–a–glance analysis of critical fleet performance metrics and trends right on your Rand McNally Connect web portal home screen. Configure gauges and charts to view your data the way it makes the most sense for you and your business.
Configure and edit dashboard data by user — Configure your dashboard to view information for performance metrics including fuel consumption, fuel economy, idle time, speeding time, hard brake events, and miles driven. Plus, customize the data displayed in a gauge or chart. View data for the entire fleet, for a select driver or vehicle, or for a vehicle or driver group.
Snapshot widgets — View side–by–side comparisons of performance for the current week, month and year, or 12–week trend charts for easy analysis.
