Some GPS devices calculate time on a weekly basis in order to provide the appropriate date information. This “time calculator” needs to be reset every 1,024 weeks, roughly every 19.7 years. On April 6, 2019, the GPS “time calculator” reset to zero, causing your GPS to display the incorrect date. TND 765 users may notice an issue with night mode initiating during the middle of the day. In the event this happens, drivers can manually update the Day/Night Mode setting by clicking on the Intelliroute app, going to "Preferences" → "Day/Night Mode Setting" → "Always Day."
You might also notice an issue with your HOS logs. Although it may look like the HOS logs are incorrect, you can rest assured they are not. To retrieve your correct log information, request logs through the app in order to resync the portal. You can do this by navigating to the HOS app, selecting "Options," then selecting "Request HOS Logs."
Additionally, TND 765 users may notice their navigation app isn't updaing with the correct location while the driver is en route. Currently, there is no resolution available for this. We are working diligently with our hardware and software vendors to address the root cause and rectify the situation.
